Who We Are
Kyle Hope
President
I grew up working for Hope Construction starting at the age of 10. I started by cleaning houses on weekends and established a skill in every trade including, but not limited to; landscaping, painting, finishing, heavy duty machine operation, framing, roofing, masonry and established my own side jobs that included deck building each house on evenings and weekends. By the age of 23 (2011) I had mastered most components of building a house. At this time, Hope Construction had built over 100 homes in Dominion Parc and Lee, Betty and Gord were ready to sell the company for the remaining land.
By 2011, I had completed my millwright apprenticeship and was hired at Vale with the intention to continue building privately for rental and sale with Lee. After building a house and two semis, Lee was diagnosed with cancer and passed shortly after. Tyler became a good friend during Lee’s illness and wanted to learn every part of the house building trade. He worked alongside me to finish the semis and we were driven to continue Lee’s legacy. We started with buying and flipping properties and realized we had a very similar work ethic. We learned from each other with each new business venture. Coincidentaly, Tyler’s last name, Wilson, paired with my last name, Hope, is the name of my dad.

I have always been a kinesthetic learner. After completing high school, I entered a four year apprenticeship in Elevating Device Mechanics and have been in the trade ever since.
In 2011, Kyle Hope and I met through mutual friends. We immediately recognized we make an exceptional team when we are challenged with a project. My strength in electrical and mechanics paired well with Kyle’s strength in construction.
I was and still am driven to learn all I can about construction (and everything else I am challenged with). I started by helping Kyle complete a semi-detached home when his father became ill and there was no stopping us when his father passed away from cancer.
Jay Quesnel

Jay has joined the team at Wilson Hope Ltd as a partner and business manager.
As a successful entrepreneur, Jay brings a wealth of knowledge and will provide the framework to ensure long lasting growth.
With over 25 years of Business experience Jay offers a skill set critical to the success of any business. We are very lucky to have him.
